Andy's music has been heard on NBC's Today Show and his music and performances have been featured in the Pandora Video Series and on the Pottery Barn Kids Stylehouse website. Notable performances include performing with his band at the renowned Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas, San Francisco Symphony's 4th Of July Spectacular at Shoreline Amphitheater, Facebook presents Scare On The Square in Northern California, and Strings Music Festival in Colorado.
Being "Andy Z" has empowered and enabled Andy to make music his full-time career - one that has thus far produced 8 full-length albums including audio stories, 16 singles, 3 EP's, a full-length performance video, and multiple awards (including NAPPA, Parent's Choice Foundation, Disney Online iParenting Media), and the Andy Z (Children's) Pandora Radio channel with 280,000 listeners. But it did not leave much time for Andy to be "Andy Zamenes". In the late 2010's, he did release the single El Camino (2016), made a music video featuring the acoustic version, and performed a handful of shows with his acoustic group Andy's Alter Ego.
When the global pandemic hit, artists including Andy, whose live in-person performances make up the majority of their income, took a big hit. His performance schedule dwindled, and he scrambled to keep from having to give up his career in music. But when the world started opening up again, he was able to reflect on the past year plus, and see the silver lining. The extra time has allowed him to do a creative reset - get back in the studio, start recording again, and get into a place where he can once again express all of his creativity, including releasing new music as "Andy Zamenes".
His single Ride (2021) and official music video, was released July 4th, 2021 and the EP album "Tinman Revisited" featuring re-imagined, remixed, remastered versions of the most prominent EP in the "power trio" era of the band was released on February 25th, 2022. Two single versions of tracks from the new album, Lost and Found and Awake, were released ahead of the official release - and the music video for "Awake" dropped post-EP release.
On the horizon is a new "Andy Zamenes" single, EP titled "Emergence", and a full-length Andy Zamenes album "Drawbridge" - as well as a new full-length album by his nineties / alt rock revival project Phenomalé.
Andy is currently performing in the semi-acoustic classic rock cover band DĀJA with instrumentalist/vocalist Dan Delima, and vocalists Ane Licea and Malavika Unnikrishnan - who has already received critical acclaim from promoter legend Dr Rock aka Bernardo "Bernie" Gonzales III (founder of LatinRock, Inc - notable clients include Santana, Malo) and now head promoter Dr Annie Rodriguez.
