The single version of the song (high quality wav audio file) that first appeared on my band Tinman's self-titled EP. The long version will be track 2 on my upcoming "Andy Zamenes" album "Tinman Revisited". I wrote "Awake" when I was working as a tech, and moonlighting as a musician, all the time dreaming and "scheming" to make my escape and do music for a living. The song has the perfect post-punk vibe to compliment the rebellious nature of the lyrics.
